The 42nd Aoba Noh

A moment of ethereal enchantment on the prefecture's only Noh stage

The Aoba-no-mori Park Art & Culture Hall has an authentic white-wood, all-cypress, terraced-roofed, assembled Noh stage.
"Aoba Noh" is a Noh performance that has been held since the hall was first established.

This year, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the opening of the Aoba Noh Hall, we have invited Mr. Seikazu Kanze, the 26th head of the Kanze Soke, and his son, Saburota Kanze, to perform the Noh masterpiece "Shofu Nigiyanomai".
In addition, Kyogen will be performed by living national treasures of the Okura school, Tojiro Yamamoto and others, in "Funatomochi".

A subtitle commentary "Noh Supporter" will be available for this performance.
In commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the hall's opening, Aoba Noh will provide subtitle commentary by "Noh Support" for the first time this year.
If you download the free application to your smartphone ・ tablet in advance, subtitles will be automatically displayed along with the stage performance.
Tablets can be borrowed on the day of the performance. （ Charged ）
