Matsudo City Fire Department announces the start of [Live119] operation.

The 119 call reception desk will begin operating [Live119], a system that allows video transmission and reception when making a call from a smartphone, on October 1. By adding video to regular voice 119 calls, more accurate information can be exchanged in real time.

When deemed necessary by the command and control staff, the caller can cooperate to send video images of the situation at the scene to the command and control staff, or the command and control staff can send a video of first aid to the caller.

When a caller makes a 119 call from a smartphone, we may ask for video transmission, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
