Infectious Diseases to Watch Out For This Summer

Hand, foot, and mouth disease is currently prevalent. Children account for more than 90% of those infected in the prefecture, but some adults have been reported. The number of cases of new coronavirus infection and herpangina is also increasing.

Interactions with people increase during summer vacation. Basic infection control measures such as hand washing, cough etiquette, and ventilation should be taken.

These infectious diseases have common cold symptoms. If you have symptoms, take it easy and rest. If symptoms are severe, consult your family doctor.
