On Friday, June 28, City staff will carry the Special Olympics Flame of Hope through our community as part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run. As a result, traffic on El Camino Real may be impacted from approximately 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. as runners make their way from Henderson Ave to the Benton St.  Please drive carefully around our runners, bicyclists and volunteers, and follow instructions of police personnel.

The Torch Run culminates with the Special Olympics Northern California Summer Games. This year, Santa Clara University will host athletes and coaches for the Summer Games featuring swimming, track and field, bocce and tennis competitions, June 28 – 30. Admission is free.
