Chiba City ： Beware of Deposit and Savings Fraud

Chiba Chuo Police Station informs.

Yesterday, a caller （ made an appointment phone call ） in Shinjuku 2-chome, Chuo-ku, Tokyo, a premonition of a deposit and savings scam.
The content was, "A smartphone in someone else's name has been subscribed to by the bank account you are using.
These tactics are followed by a person pretending to be a police officer visiting your home to cheat you out of or replace your cash card, after obtaining your bank account number and PIN, etc.
If you receive any of these suspicious calls, please call 110 or the nearest police station immediately.
