A wild boar sighting was reported. The details are as follows.
[Sighting date/time] November 22 ( Friday ) around 1:20 p.m.
[Location] Higashi-Houzuka area, Edo River bank ( near Sekijuku Fureai Hiroba )
[Status] Two wild boars were seen.
Wild boars continue to be sighted near Sekijuku Fureai Hiroba, and we have set up a box trap to capture the boars. We ask for your cooperation in staying away from the box traps.
If you see a wild boar, do not approach it or provoke it, ensure your own safety, and quietly leave the area.
*We are unable to ascertain the number of wild boars because they live in riverbeds, mountain forests, etc., but we have increased the number of traps and are working on countermeasures.
*When walking your dog, please be careful because wild boars react excessively to dogs.
*Please be careful when locking your doors, as footprints have been found in private yards.
