Regarding the Occurrence of Telephone Deception Scam Deceptive of Police

Within the jurisdiction of Matsudo Police Station, we have received a number of suspicious phone calls from a person claiming to be a police officer saying,
"There is a warrant for your arrest for robbing an appointment."
A number of suspicious phone calls have been received from a person claiming to be a police officer.
Then, being directed to a line, someone claiming to be another police officer
said,
"You can be cleared of suspicion if you pay us money." and others, and then they are forced to transfer money to the bank.
If money or cash cards are mentioned, it is a scam.
Do not judge it alone, hang up the phone immediately and call the police.
Also, be aware that there has been a recent surge in phone
de scams, especially with international phone numbers starting with "＋ 1" or "＋ 44".
