The Department of Public Defense (DPD) is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic *Human Resource Associate* to join our dynamic HR Team! In this Speciali Duty (SDA)/Term-Limited Temporary (TLT) role, you will play a vital part in supporting DPD’s mission by facilitating essential HR services for our employees. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact within the Director’s Office as the HR team innovates to meet the needs of our rapidly growing department.
 
Reporting to the Human Resource Manager, and in collaboration with a high performing HR team, the Associate will provide administrative support and ensure a warm welcome for new employees joining DPD. Responsibilities include supporting recruitment efforts, managing HR records, and enhancing the onboarding experience for new hires. We are looking for customer service-oriented candidates who demonstrate strong organizational skills, have a drive for high attention to detail, thrive in a diverse, collaborative, and fast-paced environment.
