Announcement on the Medical Care System for the Elderly

〈About the premiums for FY2024〉
Insured persons under the Medical Care System for the Elderly will receive a notice by mail in mid-July regarding the annual premiums for FY2024 and payment methods. Premiums for FY2024 will be calculated based on income in FY2023.

<About the new insurance card valid from August 1st>
You will receive your new insurance card by registered mail in July. The new insurance card will be light green in color. It will expire on July 31st, 2025.

Please note that due to a change in the law, the current insurance card will no longer be issued after December 2nd, 2024, but the insurance card we have sent you can continue to use until its expiration date.
