[ALERT] CMS PECOS R7.51.7.2 Production Deployment - Application Availability, 08/24/2024

*This message is for users of the PECOS PI and AI applications in the Production environment.*

Please be advised that the CMS PECOS PI and AI applications in the Production (PROD) environment will not be available beginning at 09:00am EST to 12:00pm EST on Saturday, 08/24/2024 due to the R7.51.7.2 code deployment.

_The following PECOS PI enhancements are included in this release:_


* The PI application will now utilize the SSA API to verify SSNs for the 855A, 855B, 855I, 855S, 855O, and MDPP forms. Should the entered information fail the verification, the user will receive an error message instructing them to either modify the inputted data or discontinue.

_The following PECOS AI enhancements are included in this release:_


* The AI application will now utilize the SSA API to verify SSNs for the 855A, 855B, 855I, 855S, 855O, MDPP, and Affidavit forms. Should the entered information fail the verification, the user will receive an error message instructing them to either modify the inputted data or discontinue.

_The following PECOS Extracts enhancements are included in this release:_


* There are no enhancements to Extracts with this release.
