Upgrade Enterprise Confluence to the latest LTS version

*When is this happening?*

Start Time: Friday, 09/27/2024 at 08:00 p.m. ET
End Time: Saturday, 09/28/2024 at 3:00 a.m. ET

*Who will be impacted?*

All Enterprise Confluence Users

*What is the impact? *

Enterprise Confluence (https://confluenceent.cms.gov/) production instance will be unavailable during the maintenance window outlined above.

09/27/2024 - DevOps Services Maintenance

*Summary*

CMS Cloud will perform maintenance updates on its DevOps tools. 

*Actions we are taking*

Maintenance for production environments of DevOps Services in CMS Cloud:


* Upgrade CloudBees Jenkins CI.
* Upgrade nodes to latest EKS gold image for CBJ.
* Upgrade EKS add-ons and supporting components.
* Updating SSL certificates for JFrog Artifactory, SonarQube, and Jenkins-east

*When is this happening?*

Start time: Friday, 09/27/2024 at 9:00 p.m. ET
End time: Saturday, 09/28/2024 at 1:00 a.m. ET

*Who will be impacted?*

All AWS Commercial and GovCloud customers of CloudBees.

*What is the impact? *

Customers should expect a short downtime for the service as the instance is restarted within the maintenance window.

*10/01/2024 - Open Enrollment (OE12) - Moratorium*

*Summary*

To help ensure that we maintain good system performance and stability during CMS Healthcare Open Enrollment, an annual Moratorium period has been established to shift the scheduling of production system changes into a designated weekly maintenance windows which occurs on most Sundays.

Start time: Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 12:00 a.m. ET

End time: Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 5:00 a.m. ET

*October 1 – Start of Moratorium*

*October 6, 13, 20 – Maintenance Window (Sunday 12:00 AM – 12:00 PM)*

October 6 is also the Production patching date for the September (Victor) patching cycle- This will be the last Marketplace patching event prior to Open enrollment (OE12) beginning.

*Who will be impacted?*

Any Hybrid Cloud IT Operations team planning to make a change to a system supporting the CMS Healthcare Marketplace either directly or indirectly.
