3rd Ave S & S Main St Improvements Project Construction Updates

Construction updates: March 7, 2025

Construction on the 3rd Ave S & S Main St Improvements Project [ https://www.seattle.gov/transportation/projects-and-programs/programs/transit-program/3rd-ave-s-and-s-main-st-bus-stop?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery ] is ongoing. Learn more about what we are doing and where below: 

During the weekend (March 8-9), we will be doing stormwater work at 3rd Ave S and S Main St.


* King County Metro will also be working onsite to shift the overhead trolley lines. 

During the week (March 10-14), we will demo and pave the southbound curb lane on 3rd Ave S between Washington and Yesler (next to the Frye building) and will begin pavement demolition in the southbound curb lane on 3rd Ave S between Main and Washington.


* While this work is underway, we will need to restrict parking/loading on the east side of 3rd Ave.
* Entrance to the Frye Garage will be maintained.
