天気予報によると、今週末から最低気温が0度を下回り、今後更に冷え込みが増していく見込みです。水道管が凍結して水が出なくなったり、漏水したりといった問題が発生する可能性がありますので、事前に対策を行い、トラブルを未然に防ぎましょう。
○凍結を防ぐために
メーターボックスの中に発泡スチロールやタオルなどを入れ、保温する。
屋外水栓などの凍結しそうな蛇口から、水を出したままにしておく。（鉛筆の芯ほどの細さが目安とされています）
○凍ってしまった場合
蛇口を開け、凍った部分にタオルなどをかぶせ、蛇口に近い方からぬるま湯をゆっくりかけて溶かす。
※急に熱湯をかけると破裂するおそれがあります！※
漏水が発生した場合は、水道設備業者に修繕を依頼していただくことになりますが、寒波の場合は広範囲で被害が発生するため、毎回多くの修繕依頼が殺到し、１週間以上の順番待ちになることもあります。
急な凍結・漏水で困らないよう、あらかじめ対策をしておきましょう。
