Notice is hereby given that the City of Hermosa Beach will receive electronic bids until *2:00 PM on Thursday, January 23, 2025,* at which time the electronic bids will be publicly opened at the City Council Chambers at 1315 Valley Drive, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254 and posted on Planet Bids for CIP No. 619 Kelly Courts Renovations.

A pre-bid meeting will be held at *11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 14, 2025; at the Kelly Courts at 861 Valley Drive, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254.* The City will respond to questions from prospective Bidders at that time. The project includes, but is not limited to, renovating the existing pickleball, tennis and basketball courts, collectively identified as Kelly Courts.

The project involves demolishing and replacing existing structures such as perimeter walls, fencing, lighting, court surfaces, and play equipment. New construction will include curb walls, concrete slabs, sidewalks, asphalt pavement, court resurfacing, and the installation of modern fencing, lighting, electrical systems, and play equipment; and other related work to complete the work per project’s plans and specifications at the Kelly Courts, located at 861 Valley Drive, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254.

The engineer’s cost estimate for the project is $650,000. License requirement is a valid *State of California Contractors License Class “A” license.*

The duration of the project is *40 working days.* All bids must be submitted electronically on Planet Bids Portal, accessible through the City’s webpage at: https://www.hermosabeach.gov/our-government/city-clerk/bids-and-proposals [ https://www.hermosabeach.gov/our-government/city-clerk/bids-and-proposals?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery ] where you must first register as a vendor through our Planet Bids Portal.
