IN-PERSON: Voices of Silicon Valley - Contemporary Holiday Performance

Saturday, Dec. 14, 2 to 3:30 p.m.

Come join us for a fantastic vocal performance from the Voices of Silicon Valley, in the program room at 2 p.m.

 

They will be singing Holiday songs as well as some fun contemporary songs to mix it up! 

 

Voices of Silicon Valley (VoSV) is a forward-thinking vocal ensemble that performs music from the 20th and 21st centuries exploring the Avant-Garde, Classical, and media-inspired (film/game) arts. Dr. Cyril Deaconoff founded the vocal ensemble in 2014 with the vision to enhance the contemporary music scene in the Bay Area, and spotlight the group in the high arts. VoSV works with this vision in mind by bringing together singers of varying musical backgrounds with the collective goal of performing dynamic, technology-focused performances, while also highlighting each of their unique voices.

Did you know that every second, an astonishing 800 laptops are thrown away? In this hands-on workshop, learn the basic skills to repair a ThinkPad laptop. Practice how to clean, replace, and check the health of the laptop's battery, RAM, fan, and screen.  No technical experience required. 

 

This program is for adults and will take place in the Library Program Room.
