Special Exhibition-Related Events at the Ichihara Museum of History

The Ichihara Museum of History's special exhibition "Ichihara no Oyakushi-sama: Epidemic Diseases and Prayers of the People" will be held until December 24 (, ), and will feature events unique to the exhibition. Here are some of the events that will be held during the exhibition period, which ends on December 24 .

●Lecture "About Buddhist Sculptures in Medieval Boso"
A special lecture will be given by Mr. Hiroki Shiozawa, a member of the Ichihara City Cultural Properties Council and an authority in the field of Buddhist statue sculpture. He will talk about Buddhist statues in the Boso area in the Middle Ages, with a focus on the Buddhist statues of Ichihara, regarding the history and characteristics of the statues created by local Buddhist sculptors.
