Phone de scam [refund] appointments are being made.

Today,
in the Shiohama area
of Ichikawa City, a criminal claiming to be from the Ichikawa City Hall called
saying, "We have a refund for your medical expenses."
A phone call has been received with the contents of " I have a refund for medical expenses.
These calls are a form of telephone deception in which the caller pretends to be a city hall employee and directs the caller to an unattended ATM, where the caller is then asked to transfer money by deceptive words.
"I suspect a scam first," and then, "I'll check with my family." and so on.

Banks ・ ATMs cannot process medical expense refunds ！

Any mention of "money" and "cards" over the phone is a scam ！

If you receive such a call, hang up the phone and always consult the police or family. or a family member.
Also, the best way to prevent damage is not to answer calls from criminals.
Use answering machine settings and call recording to prevent phone deception.
