What advice would you give me for my job search?

Hello, I'm a former employee of a company that has been laid off from my job.

I have recently been looking for a new job due to layoffs at my workplace and have been actively applying through LinkedIn, Indeed, BuiltIn, etc. However, I am having a hard time finding a position that perfectly matches my experience and I am struggling in a very competitive market. However, he is having a hard time finding a position that perfectly matches his experience and is struggling in a highly competitive market.

I have experience mainly in website construction and web application development, but I do not know many people in the industry and have not had the opportunity to hear directly from people who are active in the US.

Therefore, we would be very grateful for any advice or comments on our job search from those who have experience or knowledge in the same industry.
