Konosu Fireworks Festival (held at Kounosu City Hall in Tokyo on May 15)
Nukata Sports Ground
This fireworks display is held on the Arakawa riverbed, the widest river in Japan, and is sponsored by the Konosu City Chamber of Commerce and Industry Young Men's Club. More than 15,000 fireworks, one of the largest in the Kanto region, will color the night sky in spectacular fashion. The powerful four-foot and three-foot fireworks can be seen up close, and are sure to impress.
