Vivinavi Los Angeles一人っ子の場合の親の介護

日本でくらす高齢の両親のことがとても気がかりです。
二人ともアメリカで暮らす意志は全くなく、日本を離れたがりません。
父は心臓を患っており、７０代の母が父の面倒をみている状態ですが
母にも持病があります。
私はこちらで国際結婚し永住しており、毎年日本に会いに行くようにしています。
一人っ子でアメリカ永住の方々は、ご両親の介護はどうなさっていらっしゃるのでしょうか?

大変だったら介護ホームに入ってもらうとか。
それが厳しければヘルパーさんに毎日来てもらえるように役所に相談してみるとか。

トピさんが、お子さんがいない場合ですと、親の介護のために
何ヶ月か、又は数年日本に帰ることも可能では?
旦那さんが賛成してくれる場合ですが。
でも、小さいお子さんがいるなら、そうは行かないと思います。
一緒に連れて行っても、もっと大変でしょう。
ホームは、どこも一杯で、順番待ちだそうですよ。。
それに、お金もかかるそうです。
私は、７１歳の母、６５歳の義父が日本にいますが、
もし、母だけになり、足、腰は弱って、買い物だのにも行けないなら
日本へ帰化も考えてます。
ちなみに、成人した息子が二人おります。
親が死んでから、何にもならないのが、親孝行と介護です。
うちの場合、日本に数年、帰るなら旦那が着いて来そうですが。。
いざというときの蓄えも、もちろん大切です。
なので、生活は厳しい我が家です。
自分の納得の行くいい方法があるといいですね。
