Beware of Phone Deception Victims

In the Chiba Nishi Police Station area, there have been cases of people pretending to be ward office employees or police officers, and asking for cash transfers.

Those pretending to be ward office employees will ask questions such as "Have you received any documents related to special benefits?" or "How much money is in your bankbook?

If you receive such a suspicious call, please do not believe what they say, but hang up the phone and call the legitimate phone number you have checked.
