2024 Kokanee Salmon Release, October 17, 2024 from 4:30-7pm

*This kokanee salmon release event marks an occasion of celebration for members of the Lake Sammamish Kokanee Work Group, which includes city officials, state and federal officials, non profit organizations and residents, and the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe.  Kokanee salmon will be released into Lake Sammamish at sunset from the Lake Sammamish State Park boat launch, following remarks on stage and a celebration along the lakeshore.  The release will occur near sunset and far from the lakeshore so the kokanee are safer from predators.  *
