Futtsu City】Flu Alert has been issued.

Chiba Prefecture issued an influenza alert on December 25, 2024.
In the jurisdiction of Kimitsu Public Health Center, the alert level has also exceeded the national alert threshold, so we ask all citizens to take thorough measures against infection.

Influenza Prevention Measures
z If you suspect you have influenza, please see a medical institution as soon as possible.
z To prevent influenza, take the following precautions.
・ Wash your hands frequently.
・ Get a flu shot.
・ Maintain moderate humidity.
・ Get enough rest and balanced nutrition.
・ Avoid going out to crowded places and downtown areas.
・ Ventilate frequently indoors.

・ Cough ・ If you sneeze, wear a non-woven mask with no gap from nose to chin.
・ If you do not have a mask, cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or the inside of your arm, turn your face away from others and stand at least 1 meter away.
・ Nasal discharge ・ Throw tissues containing phlegm or other sputum into the trash immediately, and wash your hands immediately when you catch a cough or sneeze with your palms.
・ Ask people who are coughing to wear a mask.
