Maintaining Banks in Japan

Nice to meet you.

I have managed to maintain a Shinsei Bank account in Japan, but recently it has become less convenient to use
because I have to get a phone authorization for transfers, etc. I am wondering how you all maintain your accounts.

I've been told that I have to send my account statement in paper form, not pay-per-use,
and I've been having it sent to my parents' house, but it looks like they won't be able to receive it there either.


I have a small amount of Japanese yen in the bank in case something happens.
I am wondering if you are maintaining your bank account in Japan without any inconvenience ？

I am also thinking of applying for a new bank account when I return to Japan if I have a new opportunity
but it seems to be difficult.
