Robberies targeting single-family homes have been reported in Chiba Prefecture and neighboring prefectures in the Kanto region.
If you are visited by someone claiming to be a remodeling or inspection company, or a buyer of unwanted items, please contact the Mobara Police Station.

Before the incident, criminals may visit or call you in the guise of a remodeling or inspection company, a disused article buyer, or other business to check your family structure, bank balance, etc.
If you are visited by such a vendor, do not let them into your home, and never give out personal or property information to strangers, including callers and visitors.

In addition, we ask that you alert your family, relatives and neighbors to each other.
