Preparation for snow accumulation

This is an announcement from the Tomisato City Disaster Prevention Division.

The snowfall expected in Chiba Prefecture is 7cm in many places in the northwest between 12:00 midnight on the 5th(月) and 12:00 midnight on the 6th(火).

In addition, if temperatures are cooler than expected and the low pressure system passes, a warning level （ 12-hour snowfall ： of 10 cm ） is possible.

Please be aware of traffic obstructions caused by snow, snow on power lines and trees, and icy road surfaces through the morning of the 6th(火).

■ Be aware of future weather information and prepare for snow accumulation.
○ Avoid going out unnecessarily.
○When driving a private car, install winter tires.
○ Prepare shoes with non-slip soles to prevent falling due to icy roads.
○ Prevent freezing by covering exposed water pipes with cloth or other winter protection.
