Currently, a scam has been confirmed in the Tsukushino area of Abiko City, in which an Abiko City Hall employee is being deceived to take cash cards.
City Hall, the tax office, and the police department have been contacting citizens
"We have a refund for you. Please tell us your bank account."
etc.
"I need your cash card for processing." We will take your cash card."
If you hear any of the above, it is a scam. Please hang up and report the call immediately.
Make an effort to avoid answering scam calls by setting your landline to voicemail.
