Preliminary Calls for Telephone Deception （ Appointment Calls ） Occurrence of Telephone Deception

Today, in the Togane Police Station area, we received a suspicious phone call from a person claiming to be from the Health and Medical Bureau of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government saying, "Your health insurance card will no longer be valid because you have illegally received medicine from a hospital."
This is a fraudulent phone call by a person claiming to be from the Health and Medical Bureau of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. This is a precursor call to a phone deception （ Appointment call ）.
A phone call from someone claiming to be a relative, government official, etc. asking for money or asking for personal information is a scam.
Please hang up the phone immediately and consult your family or the police.
