Investment Fraud ・ Beware of Romance Scams ！ ！

The Yamatake Police Department's Community Safety Division will contact you.

During 2024, "investment fraud ・ romance fraud" abusing SNS in Chiba Prefecture amounted to "148 cases" and "about 2.8 billion yen", a significant increase compared to the previous year.
Damages were also confirmed in the Yamatake Police Station area.
Please be aware of these scam tactics to avoid becoming a victim.

[Major Methods of Investment Scams]
（ 1 ） Someone you met on a social networking service deceives you about investors or their family members, and you receive a message on a social networking service saying that "crypto asset investment will be profitable
" or "an expert will guide you on your investment", and you are invited to join a group chat on LINE
. They are invited to join LoopTalk, etc.
（ 2 ） The person offers to invest with you, telling you that you will make a profit if you invest.
（ 3 ） You transfer money and are defrauded.

[Main methods of romance scams]
（ 1 ） Through social networking services such as matching apps, Instagram, Facebook, etc.
Message exchange with the person begins.
（ 2 ） Then they move to LINE, and the person they are talking to asks them to "accumulate assets for our future".
（ 3 ） You transfer money and are cheated.

There is no easy and tasty way to make money.
Also, it is very dangerous to transfer money to someone you have never met in person.
