About wild boar sightings

On January 10, 2024, at around 10:45 a.m., a wild boar measuring approximately 1 ． 2 meters in length was reported in Yokoshibahikari-cho, Yamatake-gun.
If you encounter one unexpectedly, it may attack you if you provoke it. If you see a wild boar, please leave the area slowly and be careful not to provoke the boar.
If you see a wild boar, evacuate the area immediately and then report the sighting to the city hall, town hall, or Yamatake Police Station.
