Beware of suspicious phone calls ！.

We are currently receiving suspicious phone calls in Wakaba-ku, claiming to be from ward office employees.
The caller states
"There is a refund."
etc. After this, the offender visits your home saying, "I can't process your refund because my card is not working, so I will come to your home to pick it up." The perpetrator then visits your home and tries to cheat you out of your bankbook or cash card.
If the caller mentions
"money, cash card, bankbook, PIN"
this is a scam.
To avoid becoming a victim of a scam, it is effective to take measures against telephone equipment.
Implement telephone countermeasures, such as setting your landline phone to an answering machine setting.
