I want to send a package to return to Japan.

I'm going back to Japan permanently soon, and I'm thinking of using Yamato to send my clothes and other stuff
to Japan, but
I heard that DHL is also good.
What is DHL like? ？ Most of my luggage is clothes,
and a few shoes and bags.
It will be 5-6 boxes. Would it be better to send them as separate packages, or
would it be easier and less expensive to send them as normal packages to relatives
?
We are thinking of a box about 15"x15"x15",
would that be too big ？?
