Description

In Nakajima, Kisarazu City, there is an event called "Bonten-date", a national intangible folk cultural property.
Gyojin has a deep connection with "Bonten-date".　Even today, when one returns from ascetic training at Mount Haguro, Mount Tsukiyama, and Mount Yudono in the three mountains of Dewa in Yamagata Prefecture in Tohoku, one is called a gyojin and can join the "Keiai Ko" （ It used to be called "Hachinichi Ko" ） .　There is a monthly meeting, and these days the meeting is held on the first or second Saturday of the month.　In this issue, we will talk about the year-long activities of the Gyojin （ Keiai Ko ）, which are now very rare and precious throughout the country, including the Brahma-stand.
