From September 30, 2023 （Saturday ）, an exhibition entitled "Original Drawings of Picture Books by Yoshifumi Hasegawa: Stories of Animals" will be held at the Nakatsu City Museum of History (open new window to external site).

Yoshifumi Hasegawa is a picture book artist ・ whose works are characterized by dynamic brush strokes and unique characters. The exhibition introduces the appeal of his picture books, which are widely popular among both children and adults, through his colorful original picture book drawings. The exhibition will feature approximately 60 original illustrations from three picture books depicting animals, "Oisei Mairi Wankoro," "Kawaso Mogu," and "Okapi Boya no Chiisana Boken" (Okapi Boy's Little Adventure).
