The annual "Inashiki Summer Festival Fireworks Display" is a festival that started in 1996. The festival is held mainly with stage events during the day and a "fireworks display" at night. The fireworks display is one of the largest in Ibaraki Prefecture and attracts a large number of spectators. The "This is ！ Japan's No.1 Starmine" is especially impressive and decorates the night sky of Inashiki.
