今困ってます。車を購入したのですが、１０日以内にＤＭに行き、registlationを済ませなければいけないということを知らず、すでに購入後から２５日が９月５日現在で経過しています。１０日以内の届けではCaliforniaの法律で定められていると聞きました。来週の火曜日には必ずＤＭＶに行こうと思うのですが、その場合どんなことになるのでしょうか？罰金だけでしょうか？くらですか？それともワタシはかなり大きいミスをしてしまったのでしょうか？それともＤＭＶに行って書類を処理する人がきずかなければ済む問題なのでしょうか？まったく検討つきません。是非自分でＤＭＶに行き悪夢を見る前にどなたかこの問題について知っている方ｇいらっしゃれば教えていただきたいです

法律的にどうなのかはわからないのですが、自分の体験を話しますと、２年前に帰国した友人から譲り受け（購入）、登録したのは１ヶ月ほどあとでした。ギフトにして金額は＄５００程度に設定し、かかった登録費用は＄４０くらいでしたね。
自分の場合、１０日以内に登録しないといけないというのすら知りませんでした。。（笑）まったくもってそのことはいわれなかったので、たった今知ったところです。

#2さんどうもありがとうございます！ってことはきずかれなかったら何もなく済むほどの問題ってことですね！ちなみにＤＭＶのサイトで一ヶ月以内なら罰金１５ドルだそうです
