The Developmental Disabilities and Early Childhood Supports (DDECS) Division [ https://kingcounty.gov/en/dept/dchs/human-social-services/developmental-disabilities ] has an exciting opportunity for a *Universal Developmental Screening (UDS) Manager* (Project/Program Manager III). This position will work as part of Best Starts for Kids implementation efforts in partnership with DCHS and Public Health – Seattle & King County.  The Division’s Early Childhood Team has a mission of "nurturing the development and well-being of all children prenatal to five and their families through culturally relevant, equitable, and meaningful supports and services, countywide."

The Universal Developmental Screening (UDS) Manager is responsible for guiding the work of the Best Starts for Kids UDS strategy within the Prenatal to Five investment area. The main role is to support community-based programs to successfully adapt developmental screening practices and messaging to support families’ interests in ensuring their children’s development is emerging in alignment with their priorities and their culture.

This position will report to the Developmental Promotion Team Lead within DDECS.
