Our Housing and Community Development (HCD) [ https://kingcounty.gov/en/legacy/depts/community-human-services/housing ]Division* *is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join the team as a* Health Through Housing (HTH) Deputy Manager, Special Projects Manager I*. This position will support operations and policy development for the Health Through Housing Initiative [ https://kingcounty.gov/en/dept/dchs/human-social-services/community-funded-initiatives/health-through-housing ] while ensuring the Initiative complies with the HTH Implementation Plan. [ https://mkcclegisearch.kingcounty.gov/View.ashx?M=F&ID=9959294&GUID=718EA25C-9032-448C-8C98-060B2C97B5E8 ] The paramount goal of the HTH Initiative is to create and provide ongoing operations support to 1,600 units of affordable housing for households experiencing or at risk of chronic homelessness while reducing the profound racial and ethnic disproportionality in the countywide homeless population.
HCD is looking for an experienced manager with excellent project management skills and a background working with in affordable housing, homelessness, or housing stability services. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting the operations of a multi-million dollar social services or government program. To succeed in this role, the successful candidate must be able to work in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to achieve HTH Initiative goals.
