Owen Camp at Waikiki

Winter Break ！ Enjoy New Year's activities with your friends in Japanese while having fun to the fullest ！.

Owen Network is a non-profit organization that runs summer camps in the Washington, DC area in a Japanese language environment. Children gather with Japanese-speaking friends to play in Japanese while enjoying outdoor activities that are uniquely Japanese.
Over 100 people attend Owen Camp every year, and this year marks the 18th year.
This year, we will be holding the Owen Camp in Waikiki as a one-day event.
Everyone is welcome, from permanent residents of Hawaii to those visiting Waikiki for winter break from Japan.
Seventh graders from local schools and junior high school students and above from Japanese schools can participate as volunteer counselors and experience taking care of young children.
We are planning New Year's themed crafts, activities, and bento making for this year's event.
