October ・ Run ＆ Walk 2023
October is the perfect "running" and "walking" season. This year again, Shimono City will participate in the "October ・ Run ＆ Walk," a chance to compete with participants from all over Japan for the distance you "ran" or "walked" during the month of October. Whether you have been running or walking every day and are confident in your leg strength, or you are a beginner who wants to try running or walking, this is a great opportunity to participate ？.
In addition to individual ranking events, Shimono City also participates in the "Municipality-to-Municipality Ranking," an event in which municipalities compete for rankings. In this "inter-municipal ranking" event, participating Shimono citizens compete with other municipalities in the prefecture and throughout Japan in terms of the number of steps they walk and the distance they run.
Let's all work together to achieve the crown of being No. 1 in the prefecture and No. 1 in the nation.
