Koinobori Art Class ✩ Let's make a Koinobori to decorate your house ！.

Event class for crafting with handmade stamps ！
Enjoy and deepen your understanding of Japanese culture ♫.

This is an event class to make "Koinobori" (carp streamers) with handmade stamps to decorate your home for Children's Day, a traditional Japanese children's event.

◆Dates ：
1st ： April 24 （ Sun ） 3pm-4pm （ PST ）
2nd ： April 25 （ Mon ） 2pm-3pm （ PST ）
◆Attendance ： 4 years old and up
◆Cost ： $20 per session

"What do we do on Children's Day ？"
"What is a Koi Nobori (carp streamer) ？"
etc. explained in simple terms

We will design the Koinobori scales using the "stamp type" that will be prepared in advance.
Stamps can be toys in your room, things you can find in your kitchen, or anything else the children like according to their sensibilities.

Using the finished Koinobori, the class will play a flag-raising game together and sing the "Koinobori" song together, while having fun and deepening their understanding of Japanese culture.

Teacher Mihoko, who has over 15 years of experience in early childhood education in Japan and the U.S., will gently help the children to create art that makes the most of their individuality.
