Worcestershire

The funny thing is, this is a British place name ?
Americans try really hard to pronounce this in a sincere way, but
Brits just go with Wooster. w

Literally = literally and coastal = littoral have sounds that are not in Japanese: l and r are not in Japanese, and t is a mixture of d, t, r

unlike t in Japanese. Besides, a is not a Japanese a, but a narrow a in the mouth. If you can pronounce these well, you will be closer to native.

Incidentally, the longest non-technical English word is

floccinaucinihilipilification
and refers to the action of saying something is meaningless. Certainly this word doesn't make much sense.

I thought I would put this word in, and sure enough I did. I thought so, and I put it in even though I said it was not a technical word. This guy is so creepy.

It's not hard at all, but "Wilshire Blvd" stretching from Downtown to Santa Monica is called "Wilshire Boulevard". pronounced Wilshire as "Wilshire". Is this because Boston is a city with strong British influence?

I heard that Shire is pronounced "Shire" or "Shire" in England, as it should be.

In addition, the street name is followed by St., Ave., Blvd. etc., but Boulevard is especially translated as "main street".

I am sorry that my husband's Japanese seems to be getting more and more suspect lately, perhaps due to his age.
Let me correct it.
False ) A singer from Los Angeles named "Blue Sky Boulevard" sang this song.
Correct ) A singer from Los Angeles sang a song called "Blue Sky Boulevard", right?
